The TLC’s first workshop is this Wednesday!

We’re excited for another year of helpful workshops from the Tutoring-Learning Center (TLC)! 🎉

First up is a workshop where you’ll learn how to read a syllabus, talk to faculty and staff, learn academic lingo, and get the inside scoop of college! 🎓

⚙️ Demystifying College: Unlocking the Secrets of Academic Culture

🗓️Wednesday, September 9
⏰4:00 - 4:50 p.m.
📍SRC 125

Ever stare at a syllabus and wonder what you’re actually looking at? Not sure how to email a professor without overthinking every word? You’re not alone! We’ll pull back the curtain on academic culture. We’ll walk through how to read a syllabus like a roadmap, how to talk to faculty and staff, and what all that academic lingo actually means in real life. Leave with the inside scoop and the confidence to kick off your semester strong!
