SPASH Hall of Fame induction ceremony for the class 2026 today at SentryWorld Atrium. We are looking forward to inducting this incredible class tonight. If you do not have any plans tonight. Come on out to SentryWorld. We have tickets at the door. Everyone is welcome. Social hour starts at 4:30 pm and the Ceremony starts at 6:00pm.

Our fundraising is used to keep the SPASH Athletics Hall of Fame a first class evening for the well deserving teams, athletes, coaches, their families, and the Stevens Point supporting community. Your sponsorship support and exposure will go towards covering our costs with the SentryWorld facility, induction video production, inductee plaques, event programs, event signage, and food/beverage.

Big news for 2026‼️ Our fundraising committee is very excited for this Fall 2026 to contribute up to 25% of your SPASH Athletics Hall of Fame event donation to go towards “Panthers Back Panthers”, a SPASH Athletics fundraising program to support our athletic programs. Your support is not only helping to continue to provide a top notch Hall of Fame Event, but also to help keep our SPASH Athletic programs strong with providing them with additional resources and equipment in the upcoming year.

“The primary objective of education-based athletics is to foster human development and personal growth,” said Dave Hauser, SPASH athletic director. “Panthers Back Panthers is a strong example of this mission in action and what makes SPASH athletics and our community so special. When families, coaches, athletes, and community supporters come together in support of our programs, the impact extends far beyond one team or one season. These contributions strengthen resources, enhance opportunities, and ultimately help us better fulfill the purpose of education-based athletics by creating meaningful and well-rounded experiences for all student-athletes across our district.”

This SPASH Athletics fundraising program reflects the strong connection between SPASH athletics, students, families, and the broader Stevens Point community. By supporting facility improvements, training resources, and athletic equipment, Panthers Back Panthers helps ensure students have access to meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, compete, and build confidence through athletics.

Babe was a member of the 1954 PJ Jacobs State Championship basketball team that is in the SPASH Hall of Fame. His son Scott was the starting first baseman for the 1987 State Champion SPASH baseball team.
