Happy Arbor Day! And Happy Environmental Education Week!

We're sharing reflections from our staff about EE this week. Matthew said:

"Last summer I was lucky enough to observe monarch caterpillars at each of their distinct larval stages, or instars.

There is a lot of focus on the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly, and perhaps rightfully so, as it is an amazing part of the developmental process. But it struck me that most of the time, a caterpillar is in the process of becoming a bigger caterpillar.

Education is also a patient process, so this EE week, take a breath, get outside, and be your best caterpillar!"
