💙💚WOW! We have been absolutely blown away already by the support of our local community! From our own experience as parents, we knew there was a need for high-quality child care locally, but that need is far greater than we’d anticipated! 💚💙

⭐️ THANK YOU to all of you who have spread the word about our new Child Care Center and who have recommended us! ⭐️

👶While the process moving toward official licensure & opening has been surprisingly smooth so far, it has taken a little longer than I first anticipated. Our new target opening date is October 1! 🎃

💙💚We now have 8 OFFICIALLY enrolled students, and 15 total prospective students! If you are interested in enrolling, either part-time or full-time, please reach out to Morgan via messenger or text (740-317-0368) for the enrollment packet! We will take students on a first-come, first-served basis and will soon begin a waitlist when we are at capacity!💚💙

💙💚📚When your Daycare Director has a background as an English Language Arts teacher, you better believe early literacy is going to be SUPER important at Velocity First Steps! So excited to begin contributing to instilling a love of reading in our little ones here with our 1,000 Books by Kindergarten trackers (p. 1 of 10 pictured ☺️)! 📚💚💙

📖I’m adding more books to our classroom library every day as we prepare to open, and it makes my heart so happy to include many books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! 💗✨

💙💚Although we’re not open just yet, we had the most adorable little visitor stop by to check out some of our new stuff yesterday! The toys in our toddler classroom are Knox approved! 🥰😍

💙💚As we check more and more boxes on our list each day and get closer to opening, make sure your forms are submitted in BrightWheel for enrollment! We will be enrolling on a first-come, first-served basis to keep student:teacher ratios in compliance. Once at capacity, all new prospects will be placed on our waitlist. 👣 💙💚

💚💙👣They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we’re creating the exact village WE needed when our own kids were little! Supportive; family-centered; focused on each individual child’s development, learning, and milestones; and here to provide you with some peace of mind while your little ones are in our care! 👣💙💚

💙As a teacher and administrator with 15 years of experience, I’m ready to begin this new journey and bring my passion for teaching and love of children to Velocity as Director of our brand new Child Care Center!

💚YES, we will still be offering all of the things you’ve grown to love about Velocity: group speed & agility, 1-1 or sibling sessions, birthday parties, and fun events! There is a huge, unused space in the back portion of the building which we are in the process of turning into Velocity First Steps Child Care!! 👣

It’s our goal to be fully certified and open by mid-end of September! We are currently accepting pre-enrollment, as spots will be limited to keep teacher:child ratios in compliance. If you are interested, please reach out!

💙💚We are making so much progress every day and cannot WAIT to officially open! This space is being prepped as Classroom #1, and is going to be filled with little ones having fun & learning each and every day! 💚💙
