Bitter sweet last “week” of Summer!
We wish all of our school age kids that have moved on all the best. Some of these kids have been in our walls everyday for the last 3-4 years! Believe it or not, that’s a transition hard for us too! Have so much fun this school year!
Water days, outside fun, small circle times, and reading books- all the things this week!

Monday, our preschool classroom start their “year”, we welcomed some new kids!
We do have some limited spots available, so if you know anyone on the fence about classes, send them in and we can take a tour!

Calling all local business owners, employers, and community partners!

We’re bringing together folks from McPherson, Marion, Harvey, and Rice Counties to have a real conversation about something that affects all of us, child care and our workforce.

Join us for Child Care Solutions for Workforce Participation on Tuesday, August 25th at the McPherson Community Building.

We’ll talk about what child care looks like across our region, hear about some of the solutions other communities and employers are trying, learn about Kansas resources and incentives, and share what’s already working locally.

But we really want this to be more than another meeting where people sit and listen. We want to hear from our businesses.

What challenges are you seeing with your employees? How is child care affecting your workforce? What would actually be helpful? And what could we do differently if we worked together?

Back to school Party!
Kids spent the afternoon at Sterling Bowling Alley. They had a blast!
Lots of memories made this summer, lots of little field trips and events, and of course the pool time! Until next summer!
