Little Ducklings Daycare Licensed in home daycare facility. Little Ducklings Daycare is an in-home licensed daycare. I currently accept children 2 - 12yrs.

I have been in childcare for over 18 years. I have previously been a babysitter, live-in nanny, live-out nanny, and a daycare center teacher. I went to college for my Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and graduated in 2013. I have also recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Child Development (December 2024)

Family childcare to me is an opportunity to blend educational experience

s with home experiences. I enjoy having the freedom to have structure with flexibility where needed and love to have good connections with the families in my program. I believe children learn best through play but also believe there are benefits to structured activities and lessons. Opportunities for solo play, side-by-side play, modeled play, group work, and sensory experiences are given daily. I require all of my substitutes and assistants to hold their First Aid and CPR certifications along with maintaining continuous trainings throughout the year. Little Ducklings still has openings!

Located in Sterling, IL.

We have 2 openings for children 30mos and up.

A little about us:
*We are a family home childcare licensed (since 2015) through the state as well as insured.
*We do accept 4C's.
*We go on field trips (included in tuition).
*We utilize Early Experience Learning curriculum starting as early as 2yrs with kiddos who are ready/interested.
*We utilize the Brightwheel app making it possible for you to be caught up on what your child(ren) are up to through the day.
*Meals are provided (Breakfast, Lunch, & PM snack) in accordance with state food program guidelines.
*Transportation is provided to/from Washington, Jefferson (K & up), Woodlawn AM pre-k, & St. Andrew's. Other schools can be discussed but are not guaranteed.
*All subs/assistants are required to be CPR/First Aid certified and maintain 15hrs/yr of additional continuous training.
