A reminder that the school day for both Houghton and Chocksett will be 8:25 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Please review the information below carefully:

* Staff supervision begins at 8:15 a.m.Children should not be dropped off at school prior to that time.
* Students are to be dropped off and picked up in the back of the Houghton/Chocksett building, just beyond the playground structure.
* Students should remain in their vehicles while waiting during drop-off and pick-up.
* To help ensure a smooth dismissal process, please place your child’s name on the dashboard of your vehicle on the passenger side where it is clearly visible.
* All vehicles will enter through the gate at the Houghton parking lot and exit through the gate at the Chocksett parking lot.
* Please note: The driveway in front of the school is reserved for buses only and should not be used for student drop-off or pick-up.

Please take a few moments to watch the video, which demonstrates the traffic flow and route for drop-off and pick-up.

Registration can be found online on the school website! Payment is not due until your student makes the team after tryouts!

Cross country has no tryouts, everyone makes it!

We’re excited to share that our school will provide all school supplies for every student! 🎉 No shopping lists, no worrying about finding the right supplies, and no extra expense for families. We’ve got you covered! 💙🤍

Students only need to bring:
🎒 A backpack
🥪 A lunchbox, if needed — school lunches are free!
💧 A water bottle

That’s it! We’ll take care of the rest so our students can focus on what matters most — learning, growing, and having a great school year! 📚✨

New Heights Basketball Academy (Gr. 2 - 9)

Get ready for an action-packed week of basketball, skill development, and fun! This co-ed summer basketball camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 2–9 and is perfect for players of all ability levels — whether you’re just learning the game or looking to sharpen your skills for the upcoming season.

Campers will enjoy exciting drills, fast-paced games, and friendly competitions designed to improve fundamentals, boost confidence, and build a stronger understanding of the game. Beyond basketball, players will develop leadership skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lasting friendships in a positive and energetic environment.

The camp is led by Brad Clark, Chocksett Physical Education teacher and basketball coach, alongside Mike Lynch, Leicester Athletic Director and Varsity Basketball Coach. They’ll be joined by other experienced local coaches and standout student-athletes who are passionate about teaching the game and making camp an unforgettable experience.

Come ready to learn, compete, make new friends, and have a blast on the court this summer!

Sterling Sports Adventure (Gr. 1 - 8)

For over 30 years, Sterling Sports Adventure has been a beloved summer tradition in the town of Sterling, originally founded and led by Susan and Tom Lauder. Now continuing that exciting legacy, this action-packed 4-day camp offers an unforgettable experience filled with sports, teamwork, and nonstop fun for children entering grades 1–8!

Campers will enjoy a wide variety of team sports, lifetime activities, and adventure games in a fun, positive, and energetic environment. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, play, and compete in activities including basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, tennis, floor hockey, pickleball, wiffleball, badminton, dodgeball, and much more!

Whether your child is trying a new sport for the first time or already loves to compete, Sterling Sports Adventure is designed for all skill levels and focuses on sportsmanship, teamwork, skill development, and having a blast with friends old and new.

The camp is presented by Brad Clark, Chocksett Middle School Physical Education Teacher, and Mike Lynch, Leicester High School Athletic Director, along with additional staff dedicated to creating a safe, active, and memorable summer experience.

Campers should wear shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers each day, and bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a packed lunch. Come ready for four days of excitement, energy, and adventure!

Just like that, another class is ready to spread their wings. Congratulations to our 2026 8th grade graduates! We loved celebrating your accomplishments and ending the year with a fun-filled dance. Thank you for the memories, laughter, and school spirit you’ve brought to our halls. We are so proud of you and wish you nothing but success in high school and beyond. 🎓❤️✨

☀️ Our 8th graders had a fantastic day at the town beach! From games in the sand to spending time with friends, it was the perfect way to celebrate the end of middle school and make lasting memories together. 🏖️🏐🍔

Our 8th graders had an amazing day exploring Boston! Students enjoyed discovering the incredible marine life at the Boston Aquarium before heading to Faneuil Hall to explore, shop, and spend time with friends. It was a fun-filled day full of learning, laughter, and memories that will last long after middle school. 🐠🪸🪼🏛️
