Good morning, we wrapped up our SFSP for the summer yesterday. We had a great turnout!! I just want to thank all of you that show up daily and support our program. We really couldn’t be a success without everyone one that take the time to bring your children for lunch. Thanks to Wade Gandee and City of Sterling for the use of the Pavilion, The South Platte Sentinel and KPMX for getting the word out about our program. To Dominos for giving the ladies a “day” off from cooking!! Our Wednesday Pizza Days bring our biggest groups!! To RE-1 Valley for the continued support of what we do. Our regulars, Sterling Early Learners & Trinity Lutheran, that walk their littles over almost daily!! Family Resource Center for allowing us to provide meals to your summer club students. Even if you only came once, THANK YOU ALL!!!
We received this wonderful Thank you from the “Blankenship and Johnson kiddos”❤️ This is our why and why my staff give up part of their summer to work. They love the connections with the families that they get to form over the summer!! I also have to give my staff a shout out too. None of this would happen without them. We had a review from the State this month and had zero findings!! Thats a pretty big deal, and my staff is a huge part of that outcome! So thank you Mihaela,Kim, Judy,Martha and Fumie for your hard work. It’s paid off in so many ways!! Thank you to our wonderful community, have a great rest of your summer, we will see your kids soon when schools starts in a few weeks!’ Our Hearts full!!! ❤️

Good morning Sterling! Today is our last day of SFDP for this summer. The ladies are cleaning out the freezer so there could be more than one option for lunch today. It will be a full meal and I hope you all come out for our final day! We love to see you all and it has been our pleasure to serve you this summer. Come by and grab a lunch and a bag from food bank of the Rockies that we were asked to hand out. We hope to see you at Prairie Park from 11:30-12:30!!
