Can you believe LCPS starts in less than a week?! We are excited to welcome our After School students from Countryside and Algonkian on Monday!

As you are busy doing all of the things to prepare your student and your home for back to school, joining Galilee UMC for the Annual Blessing of the Backpacks this Sunday at 10 AM (preschool too) is an excellent way to help get ready!

Last Day of Summer Camp! Complete with a Math Masters Ceremony including a Black Belt and Certificate for every child and a camp-wide Carnival (cake walk, balloon animals, games, and tattoos)!

We celebrated our superstar camp counselors Abigail, Carter, Charlotte, Daniel, Ethan, Grant, Jenna, Lila, Madeline, Nadia and Stacey who brought the fun this summer and cheered for their respective colleges (Go Dukes x 2! Go Hokies x 3!, Go Hoosiers!, Go Lancers!, Go Terps! Go Nighthawks!).

HUGE thanks to Grace Meehan who was our calm, cool and collected Assistant Director every single day! And...there is no way any of the 8 fun and magical weeks of camp would have been possible without our Camp Director, Leigh Pappalardo who curated a top notch experience for ~100 kids of all ages this summer!

The fun continues in just a few weeks when the school year begins at one of NOVA Mag's Best Preschools...there's still time to enroll!
