Its a small little portable stage that can be expanded upon, so we'd love to set our sights on getting a second panel so that we can have a 4x8 foot stage.

We offer private guitar lessons for all ages and skill levels in acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and nylon string guitar. Musical styles include classical, pop, blues, jazz, rock, and folk. Lessons tend to begin with music fundamentals and a focus on technique, in addition, we also encourage an exploration of musical interests and provide tools for personal composing and songwriting.

Potomac Falls Music currently has five professional music instructors who each offer their own style of teaching and area of focus. We are committed to quality music education and all of our instructors are carefully selected for their professionalism, musicianship, and ability to connect with students.

Welcome our new instructor! Voice, piano, and ukulele! Alea is a Virginia Beach native and a lifelong vocalist who has been singing and receiving vocal training since the age of 13. She also teaches piano and ukulele. She began teaching voice in 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and has been addicted to it ever since. In 2021 she obtained her Career Studies Certificate in Music from Tidewater Community College and is currently pursuing a degree in Music Therapy at Howard University.

Welcome our new instructor! Aaron Thaul is a New York native who has lived in the DC area since 2011, and has over 15 years of teaching experience. He teaches piano, guitar, bass, and ukulele to anyone who wants to learn to play! Aaron has a lot of fun teaching and relishes being his students’ tour guide in the amusement park that is learning to play a musical instrument.

We are seeking to hire part-time instructors of piano, voice, guitar and/or ukulele for private, mobile lessons. Lessons take place in the homes of the students throughout Reston, Great Falls, Herndon, and Sterling, Virginia. Lessons are arranged to minimize driving time. We're seeking an active, energetic Music Teacher with an enthusiasm for music and an interest in working with students.

Job Type: Part-time - Independent Contractor
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
