LCPS updated Policy 8270 (Student Dress Code) for the 2026–2027 school year. Some rules have stayed the same, such as no visible underwear, hats being allowed, and hoods needing to be down. However, there are also some new rules, including no crop tops and no blankets.

Before welcoming our staff back next week and our students the following week, we are continuing to make progress on several building projects to ensure everything is ready for the start of the school year.

RBM 101 was a tremendous success as we helped prepare many of our new 6th grade students for a smooth transition to middle school. We are excited to welcome all of our students back for the first day of school on Monday, August 17!

It's time to welcome our amazing staff back to school! The PTA will be hosting our Welcome Back Breakfast on August 13th and would love your support. Welcome back, Ravens!
