After 5 wonderfully magical years The Nest will be closing it's doors on June 27th 2014. Thank you to all the families who trusted me with the care of your greatest treasures. Spending my days along side your growing children has made a beautiful impression on my soul.

Ms Angela's phone is too full of pictures!! So no photos today :(
We did have fun mashing bananas & making muffins. Then spent some time making play-doh snakes & working on forming our letters. It was wonderful to have the whole gang back together after the holiday break. Let's hope Mr Derek can fix my phone so there will be photos tomorrow :)

It's outdoor exploration time at the Nest and my little guy who cried all morning unless I held him is peacefully sleeping while swinging in the shade, my 1 year old who clung to my leg all morning because she was a wee bit jealous of the little guy who held Ms Angela's attention all morning is playing solo in the mud table & could care less where I am , my 2 toddlers who couldn't share one thing this morning & who couldn't keep their hands to themselves are harmoniously playing in the playhouse involved in a beautiful story of family & "what's for dinner". Even I notice my spirit is lifted & my breath is deeper & I'm enjoying watching the children. There is magic out here!! Being outside is so amazing.... It transforms everyone's outlook & mood. It makes me sad that my own children & so many others are only able to soak up 20 to 30 minutes of this magic during their 8 hour (including bus ride) school day. Something needs to change!!!!!
