Our 6th grade percussionists are great at following directions, but they take everything so literally

Thank you to our “judges” for helping out during class today! We had Mr. Lotfi, AP Fisher, Dean Kassander, Mr. Linn, and former RBMS all-stars, Maggie and Lilly. We appreciate your valuable input!

So thankful for Mr. Taylor for coming to work with our 8th graders today. Our 8th graders are working SO hard in the final push towards Assessment and we couldn’t be more proud of their progress and dedication to band! #bandfam

Proud of our 8th graders, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band on their pre assessment concert tonight! We are so grateful to Mr. Morton, Ms. Newmiller, and Mr. Taylor for all of their valuable insight!

7th grade really showed up and brought their A game tonight. We are SO proud.

LOVED meeting some future RBMS musicians this evening! We are always grateful to our incredible student helpers for making these test drives run so smoothly!

So grateful to have some awesome musicians come and work with our 8th graders! (A few are not pictured here :( ). We are lucky to live in an area rich with fantastic musicians who are willing to work with our students!

Jazz band brought their A game tonight!! It was so much fun to share the stage with the Raven Choir, Pop Strings, and Guitar Club tonight!

To our 8th graders: We are so proud of all you accomplished in the most unusual year. You always have a “home” here. We love you. “Before you leave the band room for the last time, stop and take a look around for just one moment. These four walls have seen you at your worst and at your best. The have seen love between people. They have seen you on your most joyous days and your most melancholy ones. They have seen the person you were when you walked in for the first time and the person you have become. When you turn back around and walk through the halls for the last time, know that these walls are silently weeping - and maybe you are, too - because you both realize that in order to go somewhere in life, you must first leave home.” -unknown
