🎂👑 Happy 5th Birthday, Carmen! 👑🎂

Today at Sunnyside Daycare, we got to celebrate our little princess turning FIVE! 💕 We were so excited to spend her special day with her and make it all about her!

We had a dance party 💃🎶, lots of birthday fun, and of course… CHOCOLATE CAKE! 🍫🎂 And apparently it was pretty good because the birthday girl even asked for a second piece! 🤣

Happy 5th Birthday, sweet girl! We hope you felt extra special and loved today! 💕👑🎉

Another sweet surprise showed up from my daycare/preschool wish list today! 🥹❤️

This time, I have a name for the gifter, but I don’t recognize it, so I’m not sure if the account may be under a different name. If you’re comfortable coming forward, I’d love to know who to thank personally! And if you’d rather stay anonymous, please just know how incredibly appreciative I am.

✏️Just another little THANK YOU to everyone who has been supporting Sunnyside Daycare and purchasing items from our preschool wish list. 💛

I’ve even had people who don’t have kiddos in my daycare purchase things for us, and that means more than you know. You absolutely did not have to do that, but I appreciate you so very much for thinking of me and my little crew. 🥹❤️

Every package that shows up makes me smile, and I’m so grateful for all the love and support as we continue making our daycare/preschool a fun place to learn and grow. 📚✏️🥰

Back to the preschool grind today! ✏️🖍️📚

For some of my kiddos, we’re picking right back up where we left off and continuing to build those skills for kindergarten next year. For a couple of my littles, this is their very first year of preschool—so we’re starting with the basics like colors, pencil grip, finger placement, and even just getting used to holding a pencil. ❤️

We were a little behind schedule today while everyone got back into the swing of things, but that’s okay! This is also my first year bringing my 2- and 3-year-olds into more of our preschool curriculum, so we’re all learning our new routine together.

Overall, it was a really good first day back! ☀️❤️

💛 Today is Lyrik’s last day with me before she heads off to KINDERGARTEN! 🎒✏️📚

We made sure to have some extra fun today celebrating her, although I’ll admit I’ve already shed a few tears this morning. 🥹

I am so incredibly thankful for the time I’ve had with Lyrik. Getting the opportunity to watch her grow, learn, gain confidence, and make so much progress throughout preschool has been such a gift. She has grown into such a smart little cookie, and there is no doubt in my mind that she is READY for kindergarten! 🍪💛

One of the hardest parts of daycare is saying goodbye to these kiddos after they’ve become such a big part of our days and our Sunnyside family.

Lyrik, I am so proud of you and so excited to see all the amazing things you’ll do. I hope you always know how very loved you were during your time here.

I’ve had a few parents reach out and ask if Sunnyside Daycare & Preschool has a wish list, so I went ahead and created an Amazon Wish List with some items that would be helpful for our preschool program and kiddos. 💛

I want to be very clear that this is absolutely NOT an expectation or requirement in any way. I have already purchased the basics we need, and no one should ever feel obligated to contribute.

This list is simply here for those who have asked or anyone who would like to help add a few extra learning materials, activities, toys, and supplies to our preschool space. There are items at a variety of price points.

Any contribution, big or small, would be very much appreciated and will go directly toward things our kiddos can enjoy and learn from here at Sunnyside. 🥰

Today is such a bittersweet day at Sunnyside Daycare. It is Casin’s last day, and I am going to miss him more than I can put into words.

I have had the privilege of caring for Casin since he was just a baby, and I have loved being a part of watching him grow into the smart, funny, and amazing little boy he is today. It has been so special helping him learn, grow, and get ready for kindergarten.

Casin, I am so proud of you, and I cannot wait to see all the great things you will do. You will always hold such a special place in my heart and at Sunnyside Daycare. We love you and will miss you so much! 💙🎓
