📢 Important Communication Reminder for NIA Families

Dear NIA Families,

As we begin the new school year, we want to ensure that communication between home and school remains clear, consistent, and effective. 💙

Please remember that the two ways to communicate directly with your child’s teacher are:

📧 Teacher Email

We kindly ask that parents do not use ClassDojo to send messages to teachers. ClassDojo is being used with students for classroom purposes, and teachers will not be monitoring messages through ClassDojo. Therefore, messages sent there may not be seen or receive a response.

If you need to contact your child’s teacher, please send a message through ParentSquare or email the teacher directly. Teachers shared their email addresses during Parent Orientation in the orientation materials.

Thank you for helping us keep communication organized, consistent, and accessible for everyone. Strong communication and partnership between school and home help us better support our students! 💙💛

🚗💙 NIA Dismissal Barcode Reminder

NIA Families, our dismissal barcodes were sent home today! Please check your child’s belongings and keep your barcode safely in your vehicle each day.

When arriving for dismissal, place the barcode inside your windshield on the DRIVER’S SIDE so our staff can easily scan it. Remember: stay in your vehicle at all times, follow staff directions, and please practice with your child how to enter the car safely and buckle their seat belt independently.

🔒 Your barcode is safe and works only with NIA’s internal dismissal system. It does not provide access to your child’s personal information.

➡️ When exiting the parking lot, remember: RIGHT TURN ONLY.

Thank you for your patience and partnership as we implement our new system. With everyone following the same procedures, we can make dismissal safe, smooth, and efficient for all of our Ravens! 💙💛
