In this tribute to Graebner Elementary, alumni Ryan and Austin Lenz speak to how special Graebner Elementary and its staff were for each of them.

We look forward to welcoming the community to our Open House this Sunday, Aug. 30 at 2pm to see its transformation. Please note that parking will be limited - the community is encouraged to utilize our free shuttles from the IRC, Henry Ford II and Browning Elementary.

The Legacy of Excellence Award recognizes the lasting, positive impact these honorees have contributed to the success synonymous within Michigan’s second largest school district.

To celebrate the 2026 Legacy of Excellence honorees, Utica Community Schools will host a Legacy of Excellence Awards Event on Thursday, September 30, 2026. Through the generous support of our business community, this free, formal event will be held at The Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township beginning at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. Tickets will be available later this week on a first come, first served basis.
