Utica Community Schools Utica Community Schools (UCS) is committed, in partnership with the community, to empower students to positively transform their future and the world.

We are Michigan's second largest school district. Utica Community Schools is a nationally recognized school district dedicated to promoting outstanding academic achievement and creating a college culture where students aspire, prepare and achieve. Utica Community Schools is Michigan's second largest school district with a student enrollment of nearly 30,000 students who attend one of our four high schools, seven junior high schools, or 25 elementary schools. In addition, UCS offers four specialty high school programs, including:
Gene L. Klida Utica Academy for International Studies
Stevenson Manufacturing, Automotive and Design Engineering (MADE)
Utica Center for Mathemativs, Science and Technology
Utica Center for Science and Industry

STERLING HEIGHTS — The Sterling Heights Police Department recently teamed with Utica Community Schools for a video on school bus safety. The short clip is a spoof of the Eminem song “The Real Slim Shady” and features SHPD officers and students from Henry Ford II High School.
