TWU-Houston Upcoming Open House and Engagement Opportunities
Beginning with our Fall 2027 entering class, the TWU–Houston GPND is our new integrated graduate dietetics program (now CP under new ACEND standards), combining graduate coursework and supervised experiential learning in a full-time, 16-month program.
Our upcoming recruitment and engagement opportunities include:

Students can visit our Houston campus, meet faculty, and learn more about the GPND and other TWU programs.
🤝 Texas A&M Nutrition & Dietetics Career Workshop
September 26, 2026
We’ll be available to speak with students interested in graduate dietetics education and the TWU–Houston GPND.
💻 Virtual GPND Information Session
October 14, 2026
Students can join us virtually for an overview of the program, admissions process, supervised experiential learning, and opportunities at TWU–Houston.

October 24–27, 2026
Students attending FNCE are also welcome to stop by the TWU booth to connect with us in person.
Additional virtual information sessions will be offered throughout the fall.

The Sodexo Dietetic Internship is accepting applications on DICAS for our February and September 2027 cohorts.

Tuition Relief

Those who commit to working full-time with Sodexo for two years after completing the internship will receive a 100% ($12,000) subsidy, while a one-year commitment will qualify for a 50% ($6,000) subsidy.

Program Options

The Sodexo Dietetic Internship offers three programs to choose from: a standalone dietetic internship, a GP, and an MSDI.

Dietetic Internship

Open to those with a master’s degree (or those who will finish their master’s degree by the end of the internship program)
Start date: February 2027 OR September 2027
8 months long
Sodexo-URI GP

Obtain an MS through our partnership with the University of Rhode Island
Start date: September 2027
Accelerated, 12 months long
Master of Science + Dietetic Internship (MSDI)

Obtain an MS through our partnership with the University of Rhode Island
Start date: DI- February 2027 followed by MS- September 2027
Slower paced, 18 months long
Locations

We place interns and students in clinical and foodservice management settings in Sodexo-managed healthcare, corporate, and university settings.

Applicants to our program do not need to find any placement for these rotations.

10 Specialties

Interns and students can choose from 10 specialty rotations to individualize and enhance their learning experience by spending 160 hours in their chosen area of interest.
