Why Wednesday 💗
I joined Sigma Alpha because I wanted to connect with other women who share my interest in agriculture and build relationships within the industry. I saw it as an opportunity to grow my confidence, leadership skills, and professional network while making lasting friendships.

Introducing our Service Committee 🪩
The Service Committee is focused on serving our community and giving back whenever we can. We help plan service projects, philanthropy events, and fundraisers throughout the year. We also work with other organizations to support their causes and create more opportunities for our members to get involved.

Service has always been something I’ve enjoyed being a part of, so when I had the opportunity to take on Service Chair, I knew it was a position I wanted to be involved in. I wanted to help create more opportunities for our members to get involved while also supporting organizations and causes in our community. Being in this position has given me the chance to meet new people, try new things, and find different ways we can make an impact outside of Sigma Alpha. I’m looking forward to making service a bigger part of our chapter this year and seeing where it takes us!

Why Wednesday 💗
I joined Sigma Alpha because I wanted to be more involved in college while still staying connected to agriculture. I also wanted to meet new people and build lifelong friendships. So far, Sigma Alpha has given me the opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself and has shown me why it is so important to advocate for women in agriculture!

Why Wednesday 💗
I joined Sigma Alpha because I wanted more than just a college experience; I wanted a sisterhood.
I wanted to meet girls who would be there for the fun moments, the hard days, and everything in between. Since joining, Sigma Alpha has pushed me out of my comfort zone, introduced me to some of my favorite people, and given me memories I’ll never forget. It’s truly become one of my favorite parts of college.
