Eight weeks and an incredible group of participants! This summer, Dr. Johnson and one of our second year OT students had the incredible opportunity to contribute to a pilot study researching adaptive horsemanship for veterans and their families. We are so grateful for the opportunity for our program to be part of this study, build connections with our community, and witness the power of meaningful occupations!

This summer semester has been a busy one for both OTD cohorts! From welcoming our newest students at orientation, meeting with Dr. James Hurley , celebrating fieldwork site reveals, and gaining hands-on experience in labs like NICU and Advanced Ortho. We’re so grateful for all this summer has brought and can’t wait to see what the fall semester has in store!
