We had so much fun kicking off our first Staff Appreciation of the year with a cozy Fall Into Reading theme! 🍁☕️📖

Our teachers were treated to tea, sweet treats, and books to help build up their classroom libraries. What a wonderful way to celebrate the people who encourage our students to become lifelong readers!

A special thank you to Susan Kelly for heading up this appreciation and donating her time and artistic talents to bring the theme to life. 💙🐺

We love our JSES staff! 🍂

Before we close it down for a 3 day weekend 🥳

🐺💙 A Special Honor for Our JSES PTO

We are incredibly honored to share that the Jordan Springs Elementary School PTO has received the 2025–26 Community Stakeholders Excellence Award from Frederick County Public Schools!

This recognition is really a reflection of our entire JSES community. Everything we do—from supporting classrooms and teachers to creating memorable experiences for our students—happens because people are willing to show up, pitch in, and work together. 💙

A very special shout-out to our PTO President, Cindy Souza, who truly is the MVP of this operation! Cindy pours so much time, energy, and heart into making sure our students, teachers, and staff have what they need. We are incredibly grateful for everything she does. 🫶

And a huge thank-you to our amazing PTO team:

✨ Cindy Souza — President
✨ Jaclyn Gnew — Vice President
✨ Erica Marchessault — Secretary
✨ Mandy Olive — Treasurer
✨ Susan Kelly & Carmen Morfitt — Volunteer Coordinator
✨ Jessica Picou — Fundraising Coordinator

And one more notable mention to Amy Shipp—thank you for always showing up and showing out! Whether it’s helping behind the scenes or jumping in wherever needed, your support never goes unnoticed. 💙🐺

Most importantly, thank you to our JSES families, volunteers, teachers, staff, and community partners who continue to show up for our Wolfpack. This recognition represents all of us.

We’re grateful, we’re proud, and we’re excited for everything still to come! 🐺💙

🐺💙 WHAT A FUN RUN! 💙🐺

What an incredible day for our Wolfpack! Our students brought the energy, the smiles, and ALL the superhero spirit to the Apex Fun Run! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A HUGE thank you to Apex Leadership team for all of your hard work, energy, and encouragement over the past two weeks. You helped make this fundraiser about so much more than raising money—you helped our students build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills along the way!

And to our JSES families, parents, grandparents, friends, and supporters—THANK YOU! 💙 Every donation, share, cheer, and word of encouragement helped motivate our students and make this experience so special.

The kids had an absolute BLAST, and we couldn’t be more proud of them! 🎉🐺

Thank you for showing up for our Wolfpack! Together, we’re making pawsitive things happen! 💙🐺
