Before every home football game, our band gathers for a meal to fuel them through hours of performance and school spirit. These meals are essential to keeping our band energized and focused. We are actively seeking additional meal sponsors throughout marching/football season. Sponsors are recognized at games, on our website, and on social media - while making a direct difference for our students.

- SPONSORED - September 3rd will feature our first performance in Arrowhead Stadium in front of our hometown fans.

- September 18th Is our second performance of the season.

- October 16th is the night before a VERY early departure the next morning as the Marching Warriors travel to the Bands of America Regional Championships in Delaware. Fueling our band students is more important than ever on that evening!

- October 30th is the last scheduled home football game of the season at Sherando, and will feature the final performance of the Marching Warriors' “The Price of Passion” show this season.

What a way to kick off the new school year! Huge shoutout to members of our Sherando Drumline and Cheerleaders for taking over the NBC4 Washington broadcast this morning to celebrate the first day of school! They were all amazing on camera and did an incredible job representing their programs, Sherando, and the entire Frederick County community with pride.

It was a special highlight to see students from both groups step up for live interviews! Their heartfelt responses just go to show what being a Warrior is all about! ❤️🖤

Band Camp 2026 is officially a wrap! Two weeks (or three for percussion & color guard) of early mornings, long rehearsals, sweat, laughter, sore muscles, and countless run-throughs have come to an end.

Our preview performance on Friday, much like everything Sherando Band, came with a few unexpected surprises. When things didn't go exactly according to plan, our students came together, adapted, and put everything they had into showcasing what they've been working on. What you saw is only the beginning of "The Price of Passion", and we can't wait to see where this group takes it.

Thank you to our amazing staff, our parent volunteers, our prop builders, everyone who donated fruit, everyone who donated from our wishlist, our lunch sponsors, and the local community for always supporting our band.

A huge thank you to the Sherando High School custodians for taking care of our wonderfully talented, but often very messy crew, and to Sherando High School for your continued support of our band program and our students.

To our 2027 seniors: We are so excited to watch you lead this group through your final season. Your legacy is already becoming part of the story of the Sherando Band.

2026 Marching Warriors, you should be proud! The work you've put in over these past few weeks is showing, and this is only the beginning. Band camp may be over, but the season is just getting started.

Band Families - Join us tonight at 7pm in the Band Room for our first meeting of the 2026-27 school year. There's a lot to talk about and events to plan for already. Specifically, we'll be talking about our upcoming Tag Day and Safe Halloween events along with more details about the fall marching season.

Being an active part of the Sherando Band Boosters is the best way to get involved, stay on top of events and learn the ins and outs of how marching band operates. It's also a great way to meet other band families and make new friends! We hope to see you there.

A massive thank you to Chick-fil-A Apple Blossom Mall for being our Band Camp Day 4 lunch sponsor. In addition, they also supplied our lunch for Day 5 yesterday! Providing lunch for our entire crew on both Thursday and Friday allowed our students, staff, and volunteers to finish week one on a high note! ❤️🖤

Band Camp 2026 is off to an amazing start!

A huge THANK YOU to the Haworth and Heath families for providing our Day 1 lunch yesterday.

They fired up the grill and brought an incredible lunch spread with burgers and all the fixings to fuel our hardworking students, staff, and volunteers.
