A new school year is officially underway, and we’re excited to have our students and staff back in our buildings.

This year brings new opportunities to learn, build connections, and create memories together. We cannot wait to see the incredible things our students will accomplish in 2026-27!

CC 4-Important Transportation Update

Beginning tomorrow, August 19, 2026, and until further notice, Columbia Route 4 will be running approximately 15 minutes earlier than its normal schedule.

Please have your student ready at their bus stop 15 minutes earlier than their normally scheduled pick-up time each morning to ensure they do not miss the bus.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility while we work through this temporary change.

We will notify families as soon as the route is able to return to its regular schedule.

A huge THANK YOU to James Thomas of Moving Forward Barber & Beauty Shop for his incredible generosity and support of our students!

James donated 500 backpacks filled with school supplies for District 194 students who may need one as we begin the new school year. 🎒✏️📚

The backpacks will be available at each of our schools for families who may need them.

We are incredibly grateful to have community partners like James and Moving Forward Barber & Beauty Shop who step up to support our students and families. Thank you for helping our students start the school year ready to learn! ❤️

We are getting ready to welcome our Cardinals back for the 2026–2027 school year!

Car Tag & Lanyard Pick-Up
📅 Monday, August 17 | 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
📅 Tuesday, August 18 | 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
📍 Steger Intermediate Center Main Office

2nd Grade Families:A presentation will be held on Monday, August 17 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Families may also pick up their materials during the presentation.

All students will receive a student lanyard and car tag number Students who ride the bus, attend daycare, or participate in Ivy League Kids will also receive the appropriate tag.

Please make every effort to pick up these materials before the first day of school so our students are ready to go! ❤️
