Our FIRST three days of school are officially complete, and look at what our 4-year-old scholars have already accomplished! 💜💛

In just three days, they have:

✨ Mastered 23 sight words, including 11 color words, 2 number words, and 10 basic sight words
✨ Read and recognize all 23 words
✨ Matched colors and numbers to their written words
✨ Added and subtracted within 10
✨ Written their first and last names
✨ Matched uppercase and lowercase letters
✨ Written basic sentences using their sight words

And this is just the FIRST three days of school!

I say it all the time: little scholars are capable of so much more than we sometimes give them credit for. When we teach according to how their brains develop and give them opportunities to practice for mastery, they will show us exactly what they can do.

Day 3…and we’re just getting started! 💜💛

Hi homeschool parents! I just wanted to share a resource in case it helps someone.

If you’re new to homeschooling or you have a skill your child just isn’t mastering yet, I offer ITeach UTeach sessions where I work with your scholar while you watch, ask questions, and learn different ways to approach that skill at home, while using brain development strategies.

Sometimes you don’t need to change everything you’re doing. You just need another way to teach it.

For parents looking for a homeschool option for early childhood through 1st grade, I wanted to share a resource that may be helpful. 📚

Foundations 4 adVANCEment offers a 9-month, Levels 1–5 curriculum focused on brain development and mastery. It includes books, online learning games, and interactive activities. 90% of scholars using the full program improve 1–2 grade levels from where they started.

There’s also a separate 26-Day Reading Program for kindergarten scholars who aren’t reading yet.

There is a BIG difference between sending your child to preschool or kindergarten and intentionally preparing your child for lifelong academic success. 🎓

The early years are not just about keeping children busy, learning colors, or getting them ready for the next grade. These are the years when we build the foundation for reading, math, critical thinking, confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning.

As parents, we have to stop asking only, “Where can my child go to school?” and start asking, “What foundation will this school help my child build?”

Because your child isn’t just preparing for kindergarten.
