Over the next few weeks we will be showcasing our amazing group of CSA members, beginning with Steel-High elementary teacher Jennifer Rash!
Jennifer's Bio:
"My husband and I have been members of the Steelton-Highspire CSA since April of last year. We had previously been a part of an urban CSA in Harrisburg and so when we found out that we could be a part of Steel-High's CSA, we got on the waiting list. I love the idea of supporting a local farm. It's really cool knowing where our produce is coming from and even though it's not certified organic, the fact that the produce is grown in a controlled environment where it's not subject to pollutants and critters, gives me the confidence that everything is not just healthy but also clean. Plus Tyler is a super nice guy and the cost is more than affordable."
Jennifer has been one of the most supportive CSA members during our inaugural year. We want to thank Jennifer for her dedication to local food, our community, and its programs!
