Are you an elementary principal, instructional coach, curriculum leader, or district leader passionate about literacy? Join the Colorado Department of Education's Elementary ELA Leadership Learning Cohort!
Collaborate with leaders from across Colorado, strengthen literacy systems, learn from schools where ELA instruction is thriving, and leave each session with practical tools you can implement right away. Teams of two or more are encouraged, and travel reimbursement and licensure credit are available.

To support parents of students with disabilities in Colorado and their meaningful participation in the special education process, the state legislature passed Senate Bill 24-069 in 2024. The resulting law (Colorado Revised Statutes § 22-20-122) required the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) to create, deliver, and make publicly available a training program to present comprehensive information regarding federal and state laws and procedures regarding IEPs, including parent and student rights by June 30, 2026.

The Colorado IEP Parent Training is now available on the CDE website. The ten modules and all related resources can be accessed here.
