Our Strawberry Park Gym was transformed into a red carpet celebration as we honored some truly outstanding SPE students at our special Red Carpet Awards Ceremony!

This invite-only event brought together award recipients and their families for an afternoon of recognition and celebration.

-Perfect Attendance Award recipients were recognized for their incredible commitment to being at school every single day this year (and thankfully, staying healthy)!

-Our S.H.I.N.E. Character Champions earned all five S.H.I.N.E. character cards, demonstrating the character traits and positive choices that help make SPE such a special place.

It was wonderful to welcome families into the gym to celebrate these students' achievements and recognize the hard work, dedication, and character they demonstrated throughout the school year. Moments like these remind us that success comes in many forms, and we are proud to celebrate students who consistently show up, work hard, and lead by example.

Congratulations to all of our Red Carpet stars! We are so proud of you and grateful to your families for helping support your success throughout the year!

Congratulations to our 5th....now officially our rising 6th graders!

We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished during your elementary school years and can't wait to see what you achieve in this next chapter. While we’ll miss seeing you in our halls each day, we look forward to watching you grow and thrive in middle school and seeing you around campus next year.

Best of luck on your next adventure. We know great things are ahead!

And to all of our students, families, and staff, have a wonderful, safe, and happy summer!

🌴☀️ Beach Day was worth the wait! ☀️🌴

What was originally planned for the Friday before Spring Break was postponed by a snowstorm, and when we finally got our make-up Beach Day this past Friday, Mother Nature had one more surprise in store with a little rain. Even though we had to end the festivities about 10 minutes early, our students still had an absolute blast!

Students spent the day enjoying a variety of beach-themed activities, including reading on the beach, watching a beachy movie with friends, creating colorful boardwalk chalk art, testing their skills in a school-wide limbo challenge, singing karaoke, tossing frisbees and volleyballs, hula hooping, and simply relaxing with friends in our “beach” lounge areas.

A huge thank you to Ms. Passchier for being the driving force behind this fun school tradition and for bringing a little sunshine to our campus, no matter the weather! Shout out to Ms. Kaley, and Ms. Erika for all the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation, and to the many teachers and staff members who jumped in to help lead activities and make the day a success.

Field Day was a huge success! A big shoutout to Ms. Sabat and our amazing 5th graders!

As a special leadership opportunity, Ms. Sabat hands the reins over to our fifth graders to help plan, organize, and lead a variety of Field Day stations for the younger grades. From creative obstacle courses to energetic games and activities, they brought so much enthusiasm, teamwork, and fun to the day.

We are so proud of the leadership, creativity, and positive example our 5th graders showed while helping make Field Day such a memorable experience for everyone! 05/29/2026

This past week, our 4th graders finally got to meet their high school pen pals, in Mr. Cleland's AP class, after spending the school year writing letters back and forth, and the smiles said it all!

What began as simple letters grew into meaningful friendships, encouragement, and connection across grade levels. Through their correspondence, students practiced communication skills, built confidence in writing, and learned the value of kindness and mentorship.
