Dear Steamboat SEAC Parents,
We have 29 amazing special education teachers and 35 paraprofessionals in our Steamboat Springs School District. They dedicate hundreds of hours each week to help our students overcome their challenges, achieve their goals, and become the best students and citizens they can be. These teachers and paraprofessionals chose their profession because they are dedicated to helping children and young people with special needs. They deeply care about our kids and the futures they can have. This is selfless work that they enjoy, and we must appreciate them.
Please take some time with your child over the next few days before Blues Break to write a note, send an email, or draw a picture for your special education teacher and paraprofessional, thanking them for their hard work and dedication over the past six months. They're doing fantastic work, and we want to show them our gratitude.
Thank you!
Pete Wood, Steamboat SEAC Co-Chair
