Jada is the 2027 NWYRA Queen and a four year Stayton OHSET team member. She is one of this seasons seniors and also a 4H member. She has been spending her summers completing in rodeo for as long as we have known her, four plus years.

We are so proud of you Jada, congratulations!

It’s that time of year, with school preparations starting and the new school year approaching, Stayton OHSET is grearing up for another INCREDIBLE season.

Day 4 (last day)of volunteering at the Stampede.

Santiam Canyon Stampede thank you for the opportunity to support the community that supports us. Thank you for the monetary contribution to the 2027 Stayton OHSET team. We are appreciative and thankful.

Day 4 crew; dried, labeled and rolled sponsorship banners and help clean up the competitor camping field. Great work today Lanhden and Ambri. Huge shout out to parent Sam for all your help today.

This group is going to be a fun one! Ready or not the 2027 Stayton OHSET season is coming in September!! Your coaches and advisors CANNOT wait!

This bunch took the first shift tonight at the Santiam Canyon Stampede, serving 250 guests dinner.

Sophomore and second year team Autumn Barber never misses an opportunity to be light hearted, fun and silly. We said “be silly” and she was on it!!

We were also joined tonight by two new team members. We are so excited to have you!

Naomi Curtis (third year and senior) and Lanhden Curtis (second year and junior) showed why they are leaders on this team. Great work you two.

Stayton OHSET will be volunteering for Summerfest

New upcoming members please join us!!

We have an opportunity to support our community that has supported us through large sponsorship and fundraising opportunities next Saturday 7/25/26 at Summer Fest here in town put on by the Chamber. This is an extension of our Stayton Christmas Bazaar fundraiser and our time will be compounded into that yearly donation for our services.

This will be a great opportunity, as well, to get some volunteer hours. All of you need volunteer hours to graduate. I’ll sign off any that attend!

Hours are: 8am to 10am AND 3:45pm to 6pm

Shantell will chaperone in morning and at end! We have supported Denise (coordinator for Christmas Bazaar) and she will reward us handsomely!

We have the potential to have a large team 10+ this season and activities like this ensure our season is successful.

Please mark your calendar for this day!! Everyone is expected to help with fundraising!

Santiam SummerFest

Here’s the schedule for this next weekend! FIRST BIG FUNDRAISER OF 26-27 OHSET Season!!

We were asked Friday evening to serve at the first annual KICK OFF PARTY.

We have put all athletes names on that have not communicated not being able to participate. We EXPECT all athletes to participate in this fundraising event on the days you are listed as we only heard from a few of conflicts.

❗️PARENTS❗️ we are still in need of volunteers. We cannot successfully complete any fundraiser without you and your support!!!

Please be dressed in blue jeans, boots and a black hat. We will have shirts for you.

Together everyone ACHIEVES MORE!!

Stayton OHSET will be participating in their first fundraising opportunity of the 2026-2027 season. IF you are planning, considering or wanting to join OHSET next school year Coaches, advisors and current team members would like to extend an invitation to join us at this fundraiser.
