Our Celebrity Series takes the stage one final team this season with a program including Mendelssohn’s extraordinary Octet, Op. 20. The Heifetz Institute’s 30th Anniversary marks a moment of both responsibility and opportunity. Through the Sound of the Future campaign, our network of supporters will ensure the Institute continues to develop artists who perform at the highest level. The Board of Directors has already committed $1.25 million in leadership support and now challenges the broader Heifetz community to help match that investment dollar for dollar with donations and commitments payable through March 31, 2028. As we approach the close of our landmark 30th Anniversary Season, we’re proud to launch The Sound of the Future, the Institute’s first-ever capital campaign of $2.5 million campaign to secure the next chapter. Leading the way, the Heifetz Board of Directors has already committed $1.25 million and now invites the broader Heifetz community to help match that investment dollar for dollar. Together, we will raise the additional $1.25 million needed to strengthen scholarships, sustain world-class faculty and innovative programs, and build a strong financial foundation for generations to come.

Heifetz at 30: The Sound of the Future is an investment in the next generation of artists and the future of music. The 30th Anniversary marks a moment of both celebration and responsibility. Demand for the Heifetz experience has never been greater. Our students and faculty continue to set new standards of artistic excellence, and our 2,300+ alumni are making an impact on stages around the world.But this moment also brings real challenges. Federal and foundation funding is increasingly uncertain, while the costs of housing, meals, travel, and facilities have more than doubled over the past four years. To remain competitive with peer institutions—without placing a greater financial burden on students and families—we must strengthen our philanthropic foundation. We recently celebrated the Institute’s 30th anniversary with a Board Weekend packed with masterclasses from esteemed faculty and a Donor Gala at The Frenchmen!
