Our Parent Information Night for prospective parents was amazing!

We have limited space open space! Now is the time to claim your spot!

Homeschooling is a viable educational option for all! A homeschool collaboration is not a private school, but a collaborative effort to educate our children with the parents remaining in charge of their child’s education in a group setting.

Christmas music is about sharing the story of Christmas!
Christmas music tells the story of the birth of Jesus Christ and the nativity. It can help people understand the true meaning of Christmas and the Christian faith. Here at Keystone we are diligently practicing for our upcoming program on December 19th.

Studying weather and climate encourages patience and keen observation. Kids learn to monitor changes over time, like tracking temperature fluctuations or seasonal shifts. These skills can be valuable in various aspects of life, from scientific research to everyday problem-solving.
This past week our 1st & 2nd Grade class created and used some weather tools!

MONDAY MORNING MATHING!

According to research, most evidence suggests that learning math is generally better in the morning as the brain tends to be more alert and focused during this time, leading to better cognitive performance for tasks requiring analytical thinking like mathematics; therefore, scheduling math classes earlier in the day is often considered optimal for better learning outcomes!

🔥OCTOBER IS FIRE SAFETY MONTH! 🔥
We were treated to a special visit today by Staunton’s Station 2 for a Fire Safety Talk.
We took some time to practice drills, including our fire safety ladder. We are very thankful for our community workers and their dedication to safety and education.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid. While this replication is obviously not to scale, the interest of the group was of epic proportions! The Middle School group is fully engaged into Ancient Civilizations.

Learning to write can cause mixed emotion! Teaching young learners to write should be fun! Reading and writing stimulate the imagination, open up new worlds for students, and help them learn more effectively in a wide variety of situations, both in and out of the classroom. Our amazing young writers enjoyed a two-day Writing Workshop and enjoyed activities in all phases of the writing process!

What better way to work on spelling than SLOPPY SPELLING! Tactile learning, also known as kinesthetic learning, is a learning style where people learn best by physically interacting with material or trying things out themselves. It's one of the four main learning styles. At Keystone, we use a combination of visual, auditory, and tactile techniques to learn!
