Sign the Petition Funding for working families who need care assistance during digital learning school year
Barrow county schools just announced that they will be going fully digital. We have a new classroom for digital learning ages 5-12 with only (20) spots available. The fee is $50/wk. 7:30am-2:30pm, before school is $15/wk. and after school is $35/wk. This classroom will open on Monday, August 17th and all students are required to bring their own laptop and school supplies but no cell phones will be permitted. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner will be provided as well. Each student will have their temperature checked upon arrival and at 12pm each day. Masks will be provided. Coronavirus update: City of Auburn issues stay-at-home order in conjunction with Gwinnett County Gwinnett County and all 16 of its municipalities, including the City of Auburn, have issued stay-at-home orders in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Starting March 30th, 2020 we will be excepting new children who need care. We only have a few spots in our toddler-school age rooms. Our temporary hours of operation is Monday-Friday 7am-6pm and weekends by appointment and availability only for essential workers. Our COVID-19 protocol must be followed in order to enroll and continue to stay enrolled. All staff that enter the building must be thermo scanned at the door with a temp under 100.4 and be symptom free. Each staff member is equipped with a COVID-19 kit that includes: N95 face mask, gloves, shoe covers, hand sanitizer and disinfectant. Children must not exhibit any symptoms and will also be scanned at the door upon entry. No one will be allowed in the building except caregivers and children to keep everyone safe and well. Enrollment paperwork and payment must be completed by Friday 6pm each week in order to receive care for the following week. Prestige Academy will supply infant food, formula, snacks and cereal as well as all non-infants breakfast, lunch and snacks. Parents are only responsible for diapers, wipes and a jacket (must be labeled and only on days needed). All school age children may bring their laptop to complete school work. As always, the health and safety of Prestige Academy—children, staff and parents, is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the reports and recommendations from the CDC, DECAL and public health organizations, and are working to ensure that we do everything we can during this rapidly changing situation. Listed below you will find the details of our plan to help keep our children, staff, families and community as safe as possible.
Prestige Academy COVID-19 Protocol
Effective immediately: all children, parents and staff will be required to wash their hands with soap and water upon entry of the facility, so plan ahead each morning. No one is allowed to enter the facility with a temperature of 100.4 or higher for any reason. We have hired an additional cleaning crew as an added precautionary. We ask that you do not bring in any bags, toys, pacifiers, blankets or car seats. Only baby bottles in a labeled plastic bag and a jacket will be allowed for each child.
Starting Monday, March 16th: we will have a staff member at the front doors checking each child, staff, parent and state worker with a thermo scanner. You will be signed in at the door and limited access to the building will be in effect. All staff will be equipped with a COVID-19 kit that will include: N95 face mask, gloves, shoe covers, hand sanitizers and disinfectant. Like always, we have hand sanitizer throughout the facility, stocked sinks in every classroom and will continue to disinfect the facility and it’s contents throughout the day.

We are now excepting pre-K applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Drawings for Georgia lottery prek and Prestige Academy private prek funded spots, will take place late this summer. All applications must be submitted no later than July 20th to be apart of the drawing.

We are looking for summertime staff! There are full time and part time positions available.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Obtain (or willing to obtain) CPR/1st Aid certification
- Have patience, be responsible and love kids
Open interviews will take place on Thursday, May 25th from 1pm-2pm. All orientation and trainings take place at the facility.
