Learning is taking flight in 8th grade ELA! Students in Ms. Bush’s, Ms. McCoy’s, and Mr. Harrigan’s classes are diving into the myth of Icarus while exploring the lasting impact of mythology on our world today. Through their myth trackers, students are analyzing characterization, uncovering important themes, and examining how ancient myths continue to influence culture, literature, and everyday life. Great discussions, critical thinking, and meaningful connections are happening as students bring mythology to life!

Mark your calendars! Friday, October 23rd is Picture Day! Students may dress down for the occasion, but all dress-down expectations still apply.

✅ Please help your student be picture-ready by following these guidelines:
• No hoodies
• No holes, rips, or tears in clothing (even if covered)
• No leggings or yoga pants
• No spaghetti straps or strapless shirts
• No crop tops
• No pajama pants

Students who do not follow dress-down guidelines will be required to change into their school uniform.

We want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing custodial team! Their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming each and every day.

From early mornings to late afternoons, they work behind the scenes to ensure our students and staff have an environment where learning can thrive. Their efforts often go unnoticed, but their impact is felt in every hallway, classroom, and common area.

Our Grizzlies had an amazing time at Grizz Bash! Students spent time connecting, spending time with friends, and soaking in the memories! The day was spent playing games, eating, face painting, and listening to music.
