Fourth Grader, Nicole Osborne, was one of 5 Iredell County students chosen to be "Chief of the Day" by the Iredell County Fire Dept., after entering their annual Fire Safety Poster Contest. Nicole and the other students were honored yesterday by the Firemen of Station One in Statesville by visiting the station, the Emergency Communications Center, Long Road Racing, getting a lift in the bucket of the Station One truck, and ending it all with lunch with the firemen at Chili's. Congratulations, Nicole! We are very proud of you!
