Meet Mrs. Treva Super, our new Senior Class Teacher!

Mrs. Super holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. She has been a pastor's wife for 25 years, homeschooled her seven children for 14 years, and worked with teenagers both vocationally and in ministry for over 25 years.

What drew her to Cornerstone? She loves the individualized learning style, the respectful presence of our student body, and the focus on Christian discipleship.

Our seniors are in good hands this year. We are so glad God brought you to CCA, Mrs. Super. Welcome to the family!

Our seniors decorated their jeans and wore them the first week back, kicking off a new tradition here at CCA.

Meet Julianna Ryu, one of our new Upper School teachers!

Julianna holds a Bachelor's degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University – Carolina, and she spent the past four years teaching secondary math. This year she is working with our 10th and 11th grade students, and she is excited to be starting this new role and getting to use her creativity in a fresh way.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, Rae, serving at church, and hanging out with their dog, Kanga.

We are so glad God brought you to CCA, Julianna. Welcome to the family!

We had a great turnout for Family Fun Day last Friday, and it was a great way to kick off the school year.

The kids loved the bounce houses in the gym, we had some volleyball and basketball going, and the face painting was a hit. Mostly it was just nice to have everyone in one place and get to catch up with our CCA families.

Our newest CCA students had their first days this week, and what a great start it has been! 🤩

From our brand new kindergarteners to students joining us in upper school, this week was full of new backpacks, nervous smiles, and big hugs at drop off.

We are so glad you are here, and we cannot wait to welcome all of our students back next week when the rest of the school year gets going. It is going to be a great year!

Two events this weekend at CCA!

Join us Friday, August 14 from 5 to 7pm at the gym. Bounce house, face paint, food, games, and lots of fun. Bring the whole family and come meet other CCA families and students.

And don't forget, Kids Crusade is Saturday, August 15 for kindergarten through 5th grade. Registration starts at 8:30am, pick up at 12:30pm, lunch included. Drop off and pick up at the sanctuary.

We have big news to share!

Cornerstone Christian Academy has been named a contender for the Yass Prize, often called the Pulitzer Prize for education. 🎉

Out of thousands of schools across the country, we have been selected as one of the top 26 in the nation. We are now advancing to the next round to compete for the $1 million grand prize.

This recognition belongs to our whole community. To the teachers who give everything they have. To the parents who trust us with their children. To the students who make this school what it is.

We have always believed in the work happening here. It means so much to see it recognized on a national level.
