🐦 Every bird counts, your observation matters! Today is World Migratory Bird Day! Today is a day to shine light and spread awareness about the conservation of habitats and migratory birds.

How can you participate? ➡️ Visit the site ebird.org/home or merlinbirds.org to track and log all bird sightings! These websites are designed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and help scientists track behaviors, breeding, and flight patterns of birds with your help.

🦅 Come to Rescue Ranch, walk our nature trails and listen and look for birds! For more information on visiting go to https://www.rescueranch.com/.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."

Huge thanks to our Rescue Ranch community for stepping up with candy donations for our Equuvation partners! We're so grateful for the way you show up for nonprofits in this community. 🥰

We're still in need of candy donations ahead of GRAZE+GLOW on October 24th (limited tickets left if you'd like to attend!), so please keep the sugary love coming! 🍭🍫🍬 Assorted treats are welcome here at the Ranch through October 22nd to share with Equuvation. It goes without saying (but we're gonna say it anyway!) - thank you for thinking of us in your Halloween candy shopping! 🎃 Happy Friday and enjoy a beautiful fall weekend! 💕

A little action video from Paisley having her teeth floated. A little head rub makes it all better!

And just like that, the 2026 Horse Dental Floats are complete!

Though it may look a little medieval, floating is a routine veterinary procedure where the horse's teeth are filed down to get rid of any sharp points and helps to even out the tooth surface to allow for proper foraging and feeding. All six of our miniature horses and our donkey did GREAT!

We want to thank Dr. Elliot and Nate from Seven Springs Mobile Veterinary Services for their knowledge and expertise. They even took a few minutes to talk to our Homeschool Club students about what they were doing!

See, even horses and donkeys need to see the dentist! 🦷

Amazon Prime Days are here!

Animal Ambassador List: https://a.co/0b2J64fc
Education Supplies List: https://a.co/086kpj7n

We have updated our wishlist and Velvet is hoping that while you are taking advantage of some awesome deals that you will purchase a bag of food or other needed items for her and our other animal ambassadors or items that support our education programs.

Right now, our stock pile of animal food and daily supplies is extremely low and items that support our programs are also minimal after eleven busy weeks of summer camp!

Did you know Rescue Ranch is a 501c3 non-profit organization? Without your support, we cannot continue with our mission. YOU make it possible!

All items donated directly from these lists are delivered directly to our front door.

THANK YOU!

**If you see this post, please share it! The algorithm doesn't love when we post links, so our posts do not reach as many people because of that.

“And the yellow sunflower by the brook, in autumn beauty stood.” - William Cullen Bryant

Happy Monday from Rescue Ranch! Celebrating the beauty of autumn today with our little pollinator friends 🐝

Did you know that nearly 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading crops depend on them? We're happy they like it here, and we hope all of you come visit, too! 💛 Bring your friends and families out to enjoy a beautiful day at the ranch - we'd love to share the magic of fall with all of you! 🍁🌻
