Good Morning Vikings! - AIG Parent Learn and Lead Session

Tonight, Mrs. Kelly Hinson, ISS Director of Gifted Learning, will be hosting an AIG Learn and Lead Session from 5:30 to 6:30 through Zoom. During this session, information on how AIG students are identified, levels of services, types of enrichment programs, and Differential Educational Plans (DEPS), will be some of the topics of discussion. 📢 Important Tardy Policy Update - Edited Post

We have revamped our tardy policy to align with district expectations and to help ensure that students are in class on time and ready to learn.

Parents and families, please take a moment to review the updated expectations with your student. Consistent attendance and punctuality are important to student success, and we appreciate your support in reinforcing the importance of arriving to school and class on time.

Good Evening!- FINAL REMINDER PSAT

On Saturday, October 17th, 2026, we will offer the PSAT exam. This is for students in the Sophomore and Junior classes for the 2026-2027 school year. The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) can help eligible juniors qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program. It can also help them find other scholarships and programs that can provide money for college and academic honors.

The PSAT/NMSQT is a test for 10th and 11th graders. It helps them get ready for the SAT, college, and jobs. The last day to sign up is Friday, August 21st, 2026. There will be no exceptions after this date.
Fee: Students who want to take the PSAT must pay $25.00. They must pay this before they can be put on the official list. You can pay online using the link below. The last day to pay is Friday, August 21st.

Iredell-Statesville County Online School Payments (OSP) portal is a service provided to parents to facilitate payment for school fees for a variety of products and services.

A look back at our Open House! Our teachers and staff were ready with big smiles, lots of excitement, and open arms to welcome our families. We had wonderful vendors, excited boosters and great student leadership. We loved getting to connect and kick off the year together!

Parking Passes:
If you still need to get your parking pass, you can pick upyour parking pass on the following dates:
- Monday, August 10 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Admin Center
- Tuesday, August 11 from 8:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m in the Admin Center
To get an approved application, you must fill out the application and pay the $50 fee. You must also have paid all school fees. You cannot park on campus without a pass.
