Lisa Muldrew
Beginning and Intermediate Piano, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Flute, and Vocal Coaching

Lisa Muldrew holds a BMUS and a MMED in Music Education from the University of Georgia. Recently retired from the Bulloch County School System, she has more than 30 years experience in public and private education, including choral music, musical theatre, piano, and instrumental instruction.

With teaching experiences spanning pre-school through college, she is certified in Orff Music Level 1, as well as gifted education. In addition to this, she has been involved with the Averitt Center for the Arts, most recently serving as the musical director for “Fiddler on the Roof” (summer of 2025). Mrs. Muldrew is currently the music director for the traditional worship service at Pittman Park United Methodist Church. She is married to Allen Muldrew, and they have three daughters: Alyssa, Juliet, and Amanda.

Catherine McCooey
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Piano Lessons

Catherine McCooey is a dedicated piano teacher with 10 years of teaching and performance experience. She holds the Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in piano performance from Georgia Southern University.

Catherine has worked with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them build strong foundations in technique, theory, and musical expression. She believes in creating a supporting, engaging environment that fosters confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.

In addition to teaching, Catherine is an active church musician and accompanist, currently working as the organist at Pittman Park UMC. She has accompanied a multitude of school competitions and events including District Honor Choir, Statesboro High School, Savannah Christian Preparatory School, and Mattie Lively Elementary School.

We are thrilled to announce that Lisa Muldrew and Catherine McCooey are partnering together to bring even more opportunities for our students. While our music studios remain independent, we are excited to collaborate for recitals, special events, studio classes, and more. It is our goal to create experiences for our students to learn, perform, and grow.

We can’t wait to see the wonderful music our students will make as we support each other and build a stronger musical community together.
