Our Audio Video Technology and Film students at Statesboro High School wrapped up an incredible year of hands-on learning! Guided by instructor Jennifer Gaines, students produced over 75 total projects, including 12 episodes of SHS Spotlight and 8 live morning broadcasts. From camera operation and audio engineering to live problem-solving, these students are gaining real-world workforce skills that prepare them for successful careers after graduation. Welcome back to our dedicated CTAE educators on their first official day of pre-planning! While summer break was in full swing for many, our career and technical teachers were busy attending professional development, guiding students at national leadership conferences, and planning high-impact opportunities for the upcoming year. Thank you for your hard work in preparing our students for college, military, and workforce success!

We are proud to announce that two of our outstanding high school students have been selected as Georgia FCCLA Region 9 Officers for the upcoming school year! Congratulations to Chloe Lin from Southeast Bulloch High School and Ava Mincey from Statesboro High School for stepping into these vital regional leadership roles. Through Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE), our students build character, leadership, and workforce skills that strengthen our entire community.
