Soon to celebrate its 50th year of existence, GSU MUN hosts middle and high school MUN conferences. Georgia Southern University’s National Model UN delegations have received numerous awards during the course of their participation in the National Model UN Conference. Georgia Southern University's Model United Nations (GSUMUN) delegation recently returned from the National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference in New York City where it competed with delegations from around the world for the 53rd time.
Our delegation was awarded Outstanding distinction – the highest award bestowed by NMUN – for the 13th consecutive year, and for the 15th time in 16 years. In addition, three of our partnerships won Outstanding distinction for Position Paper Writing in their committees, and four partnerships won Outstanding Peer recognitions in their committees.
