“As an only child, coming to college was a little intimidating, but Zeta quickly became my home away from home. Through this chapter, I’ve found my best friends, an amazing support system, and so many people who make every day better.

Some of my favorite memories are the simple ones, like Monday night dinners, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and getting to do life alongside such incredible new friends. Being on the philanthropy team has made me love Zeta even more, and I’m so grateful for the friendships and memories this sisterhood has given me.”

“Hey yall! I’m Grace Wendt, I am going into my junior year as a Special Education major! I’m from Kennesaw, Georgia! My favorite thing about Zeta is the love within the chapter and having such a strong sisterhood! My sisters always encourage me to reach for my dreams and have helped me grow into a better woman and leader! I know that no matter what I always have so many amazing girls there for me cheering me on! Going into college I couldn’t imagine the friendships I would be blessed with because of Zeta! I currently serve as Vice President Academic Achievement! I get to help my sisters reach their goals academically and celebrate their academic achievements! A fun fact about me is I love to craft especially needlepointing!”

“Hiiiii!!! My name is Kennah Wall and I’m in PC 24! I had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece for the past month!! We went to Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete and it was truly the most life changing and unforgettable experience!!
Throughout this month I got to meet so many people and create so many connections with girls in Greek life at so many other schools! We also participated in service opportunities by sorting clothes and picking up trash along the beach!
I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to experience this!”

Some connections are written long before Bid Day. For Peyton, Zeta is more than a chapter…it’s a legacy of love, friendship, and sisterhood that began with her mom’s experience as a Zeta at Georgia Southern and continues today. Let’s hear more from both Peyton and her mom!

From Peyton- “Zeta has given me some of my very biggest blessings, and one of the most special is getting to share this sisterhood with my mom. My mom has always been my biggest cheerleader and support system throughout my college career! From being there when I ran home on bid day, initiating me, and celebrating all of the moments in between, I am so grateful to share these memories and milestones with her! Now holding the same exec position she once held, it’s been so special to have the opportunity to follow in her footsteps. I am forever in debt to Zeta for allowing us to share these special moments not just as mom and daughter but also as sisters!”

From Mrs. Free- “Choosing Zeta Tau Alpha was a defining chapter of my own college years, but when it was Peyton’s turn to go through recruitment, I made a conscious choice to step back and never pressure or persuade her. It was special to watch the Lord tug on her heart throughout the process, guiding her steps toward a place where she could truly make a difference. Ultimately, seeing her heart lead her to make ZTA her home on her own accord was a beautiful full-circle moment that I will always cherish.”

“Hi! My name is Ella Gaddis, I’m going into my senior year at Georgia Southern as a supply chain and logistics major! I’m from Darien, Georgia. One of my favorite things about Zeta is the community, I came to college feeling lost and not really knowing what I wanted out of college. I found a home away from home, my best friends, and most importantly confidence! Zeta also allowed me to grow into a leader! I currently serve as VP Member Experience! A fun fact about me, is that I love to be on the water- whether it’s fishing, sailing, or going to the beach!”
