The Georgia Southern BUILD program made a stop at the Garden to complete a few service projects. The Garden staff and visitors are extremely grateful!

BUILD is Georgia Southern’s renowned pre-semester leadership program. Building Undergraduate Involvement in Leadership Development (BUILD), is a student’s first step towards a successful and impactful college experience.

Over five immersive days, BUILD students:

Develop essential leadership skills.

Make a real difference in the community.

Forge friendships

Get a head start on their academic journey.

BUILD is a launchpad for a fulfilling and successful experience at Georgia Southern University.

It's officially the first day of summer! 😎 How are you celebrating the day?

Leadership is groooovy! Come check out our OLCE table at the Student Union Porch on the Armstrong Campus to learn about all the groovy leadership opportunities on campus! There will also be FREE Kona Ice and FREE T-shirts that you can customize with tie dye.

Curious to see projects fellow students complete when they team up with a nonprofit? Some of these projects will be on display Wednesday, April 10 at the Union Rotunda during Eagle Showcase: Excellence in Service-Learning.

Come enjoy light refreshments, peruse posters, and see how some of your fellow students are working with the community.

April is National Volunteer Month. Join us Monday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Union to hear guest speaker, Nipuna Ambanpola ('19) discuss The Evolution of People Powered Volunteerism. Nipuna is the Founder and Executive Director of iVolunteer International, Inc., a tech-nonprofit mobilizing global volunteers.
