A huge Thank You to The Waycross-Ware County Airport, Frontline Aviation, the Waycross community and all of our pilots and volunteers who helped us close out our last flight event of the season. We couldn't do it without you! It was a hot day but we stuck to the mission of introducing our youth to the skies. 🛩️ 🛩️ 🛩️

First Flight Statesboro welcomed over 118 young aviators, and the excitement on their faces said everything.

We are deeply grateful to our partners, the Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport and Lowcountry Flight Company for helping make this day possible. Thank you as well to Civil Air Patrol - Statesboro Squadron GA451, Fly Corps Aviation, Bulloch County Fire, EMS, and AirEvac for your support.

Our vendors, Say Squeeze, The Freeze Pop, LLC, Larry Hobbs BBQ, and El Amigo, kept everyone refreshed and well‑fed, and we appreciate you.

Our volunteer pilots also deserve special recognition. Their generosity, skill, and passion for aviation are what bring First Flight to life. Each pilot contributed their time, their aircraft, and their expertise to give every child an unforgettable experience in the sky. We are grateful for every single one of them.

And to our event volunteers: your dedication is the heartbeat of First Flight. You show up, you give your time, and you make magic happen. We could not do any of this without you.
