Research took center stage this summer!

CAMS Symposium: Featured 28 student research presentations and hosted guest speakers from five partner universities.

Institute for Coastal Plain Science Open House: Brought together leaders from six universities and state agencies to focus on coastal sustainability and resilience.

Summer Research Showcase: Displayed over 90 student and faculty projects at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center.

2026 Awards Celebration: Capped off the week by recognizing outstanding faculty, staff, graduate students and alumni.

Georgia Southern was always Jaida Bedgood's dream school. With a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation scholarship in hand, this valedictorian is enrolling as a biology student this fall and looking forward to the opportunities offered through our new Center for Forensic Sciences!
