Despite the recent weather and its effects on Georgia Southern, IFC recruitment week will continue. We will be in the Kappa Delta- Delta Lambda Chapter of Georgia Southern University tomorrow from 5-8 for Smokers Night.

From Outdoor in the Spring to Indoor in the Fall, the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha at Georgia Southern have prolonged their reign over the Fraternity soccer league for 2013! Afterwards, our fatigued Athletes fought hard for the All-Campus match, losing by only a few points! Good job Gentlemen, we're proud of ya!

Evan and Christian were selected for their collaboration and overall success associated with PIKE's contributions to the American Red Cross branch at Georgia Southern University and surrounding areas. Built upon & resulting from a long-term, mutually-beneficial relationship, the Red Cross at Georgia Southern acknowledged the Iota Upsilon chapter, on November 13th, 2013, for their efforts in preserving the success of several blood drives; the message was delivered in real-time, live with WTOC-TV in Savannah, and the Brotherhood was invited to, and accepted to, assist a blood drive in Savannah on November 22nd, 2013! Good job guys! Special thanks to Brothers Jeremy Buenetello & Ryan Sands for paving the way!

would like to recognize Ben Guidry as October's "PIKE of the Month" for his efforts representing Southern PIKES in Zeta Tau Alpha at Georgia Southern University's "Big Man on Campus" breast cancer awareness fundraiser, as he was placed as runner-up for the competition! Ben is from Acworth, GA and attended Harrison high school. He has taken on multiple positions within Pi Kappa Alpha; from New Member Educator, Programming Vice-President, and Social chairman, Brother Guidry has worked hard for his Fraternity chapter of GSU, and will continue to cherish and grow from these experiences. Thank you, and well done, Ben!

Celebrating the installment of the Iota Upsilon chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Georgia Southern University, established back on June 26th of 1993. The banquet was held Friday, November 8th, 2013 at the Quality Inn ballroom in Statesboro, GA; the next morning brothers and alumni celebrated with a traditional GSU tailgate accompanied with BBQ & low country broil!

Congratulations to Zac Watson on being awarded PIKE of the Month for the month of August! Zac was recognized for his efforts as Pi Kappa Alpha's recruitment chairman, managing the acquisition of the biggest fall new member class that the Iota Upsilon chapter has seen in quite some time!

Congratulations to Connor Winn for being awarded the PIKE of the Month for September, for his hard work and dedication as the chapter's social chairman. Originally from Chattahoochee, Connor is currently a sophomore at Georgia Southern University with a degree in Business. Once again congratulations, and Keep the Fire Burning!
