There's something brewing in the Gulf, but it doesn't have to turn into a hurricane to cause an emergency. Thunderstorms, high winds, and tornadoes can cause flooding, power outages, and property damage.

An area of low pressure is forecast to develop this weekend in the northeastern Gulf. There is only a 20% chance for it becoming tropical. Confidence is low IF the low develops and WHERE it may go. Right now we are expecting an increased rain chance Sunday into Monday. We'll continue to give you updates.
