Celebrating : Promise Oti-Okardie

Promise was managing marketing campaigns for major global brands at a leading digital marketing agency in Nigeria, but knew she wanted to make the transition to leadership. As an experienced marketing professional, she sought a program that could support that shift.

Her search brought her to Georgia Southern College of Graduate Studies, where she earned a master’s degree in professional communication and leadership. At Georgia Southern, she was encouraged to step outside her comfort zone, which helped her discover her strengths, clarify her interests and feel more confident about pursuing big dreams.
