The Gamma Theta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota was founded April 20, 1958 at Georgia Southern University, making it the first all women's organization at Georgia Southern. Members of SAI are active in all areas of campus music and campus life, working closely with faculty, administration, campus and community groups, music professionals and patrons.
