We are proud to share that 16 of our students recently represented our program at the SkillsUSA Georgia State Championships. Our students showcased their hard work and talent across a wide range of competitions: Cabinetmaking, CNC Programming, Construction Technology, Drywall, Electrical Construction Wiring, First Aid/CPR, Masonry, Plumbing, and Teamworks. Each of them represented our school and community with excellence!

Several of our students brought home top honors from the event. Congratulations to Jerry Aguilar, who placed 1st in CNC 5-Axis Programming, and to the team of Henry Lanier, Maddux Marsh, Murray DiNello, and Will James, who earned an impressive 2nd place in the Teamworks competition.

To top off a fantastic event, our program was recognized as a Gold Chapter of Distinction—the highest level a chapter can earn at the state level!

A special thank you to the local industry partners who helped make this trip possible for our students: ACE Electric, D.R. Horton, Floors Outlet, the Home Builders Association of Statesboro, and SACK. We deeply appreciate your continued support! .r.hortonhhsav
