On April 14th, the Delta Theta Chapter attended the Eagle Excellence Award Ceremony. The Delta Theta Chapter received the Student Organization Award. This award represents high performing organizations that exceed in service, engagement, and development. Carson Shaver 24’ was also sworn in as the Student Government Association President. We are so excited for him and the great things our chapter continues to do!

This week we were excited to host our annual Cowboy ball week for the Independence Fund. We are pleased to announce that we raised $60,000 for the Independence Fund! Thank you to all the sororities, families, and brothers that helped contribute to this great cause. We also hosted a barbecue for the American Legion and Campus Police. Congrats to Robert Headley on receiving the Certificate of Commendation from the American Legion. Congrats to Phi Mu on winning our week! Also a huge thanks to Wyatt Flores for judging and announcing the winner of our dance! Thank yall so much for such a great week!

This week, the Delta Theta chapter was lucky enough to have brothers travel to the Dominican Republic with the purpose to serve. They installed clean water filters for families to share the love of Christ. This mission was about making a real impact physically and spiritually. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and to serve communities with something as essential as clean water and as powerful as the Gospel.

Today the Delta Theta Chapter was pleased to have brothers and alumni (Charlie Yokley, Patrick Stotler, Brendan Stotler, Brett Stotler, and Matthew Lewis) attend the 25th annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser for the fight against childhood cancer! We are excited to announce one of our Delta Theta brothers, Carson Shaver Fall 24’, won the Student Government Association President position. We can’t wait to see him succeed and better our campus for all of the students here at Georgia Southern! Excelsior!

Today we served the American Legion by cleaning up trash around the property, repairing their flagpole, and freshening up the landscaping, So thankful we got to help out those who served our country!

This past weekend the Delta Theta Chapter was pleased to host our second annual Oyster Roast in memory of Mrs. Susan Reyes. We are excited to announce that we were able to raise $2,500 for the ALS foundation. Thank you so much to everyone that contributed and came and supported this great cause!
